Mark Huggins is that rare mix, a professional actor with an extensive business career. After gaining his OND in business studies Mark embarked on a twelve-year business career that started in Retail Management and moved on to creating and developing his own highly successful Sales and Marketing Consultancy. The result was Mark developed a wide range of key management and business skills, listening to customers' and suppliers' needs whilst developing and communicating a sound business strategy.
In 1990, Mark dissolved his consultancy and fulfilled a lifetime's ambition, to train as a professional actor. Three years later Mark graduated from London's Mountview Theatre School. Since then his career has taken him from London's West End playing the lead role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, to leading roles in National Tours of Blood Brothers, Great Expectations, A Christmas Carol and many other productions. He's also worked in productions in Sweden, Ireland & Israel. Numerous TV roles and commercials have given Mark a varied and challenging acting career to date.
It was during the late 1990s that Mark realised that his combination of corporate knowledge and business experience, mixed with his acting ability, made him a highly skilled role-player. Mark has been awarded the Certificate of Training Practice (Merit) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development (CIPD). Mark is qualified as an accredited practitioner of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, SDI (Strength Deployment Inventory) and SPIN Selling methodology. He is also a Coaches Training Institute trained coach and a member of the ICF (International Coaching Federation)
